Roger
Smith is the Fort Dix Natural Resource Management Scientist, with over
30 years experience in Natural Resource Management.
His experience with the local ecology allows him to share his
knowledge of trees and nature with adults and children.
He is also a Boy Scout leader and has helped numerous scouts
achieve advancement by teaching skills in nature, forestry and compass.
He regularly guides hikes both on Fort Dix and the NJ Forest Resource
Education Center in Jackson. He
has been a horse owner and caregiver for 25 years. He is founder of the
“Woodlands Creature Theatre”, a program that tells nature stories
thru puppets. |

Charlene
Jennings is a learning consultant with over 30 years experience in
diagnostic assessment and teaching students who have special needs. She
is a Mom of two, nearly adult children and horse lover who has two
horses, Blue and Sir William (see Willy’s rehab story on the web). She
and her husband, Lee own and operate Bluebird Farm in Tabernacle.
She has raised and shown horses for a long time but has always been
interested in learning how to do it better. She practices holistic horse
keeping, trims her own barefoot horses and is currently studying Parelli
Natural horsemanship. She will also complete Part II of EAGALA
certification this spring. She has served as vice president of HorsePath
, a NJ nonprofit for two years.

Karen
Rossner: Has 25 years experience as an art teacher in the New Jersey School
System. She enjoys the excitement of working with young creative minds!
Karen is a horse owner and Level1 Eagala professional. She is currently
involved in Cowboy Poetry, Eagala, and natural horsemanship. She has a
spiritual background and teaches Sunday school class. She is also a true
believer in the healing qualities of nature.

Belinda Gilbert
is a founding HorsePath
board member. She loves spending time at the barn with the horses
and is continually learning from them. She is a horse owner for about 5
years now. Belinda is an Administrative Assistant in an elementary
school who also enjoys children and what they can teach us.

Carrie
Christiansen is a lifelong equine professional with 25+ years of
experience and a founding member of HorsePath. She does holistic healing
work w/ animals and humans, specializing in natural hoofcare for horses.
She receives great joy from her work of supporting horses and their humans
on successful and transformational healing journeys. As an animal
intuitive, facilitating workshops on interspecies communication for
children and adults is another thing she loves to do.

Terry
Smith is currently a high school science teacher at
Bordentown
Regional
High School. She is a trained biologist
and has performed surveys for birds, mammals, reptiles, insects and
plants in her capacity at an Environmental Protection Specialist.
Additionally, she has several years experience organizing local Earth
Day celebrations and teaching children about nature through guided hikes
and other outdoor activities. Terry
has been a passionate horse owner since childhood and will serve as camp
program director and host. Left,

Endangered Species biologists. |
